Fox wins time slot without Obama

Fox’s decision to go with "So You Think You Can Dance" instead of Obama’s prime-time presser on Wednesday paid off for the network, with the dance competition winning the time slot with 7.3 million viewers, according Nielsen overnight numbers. (via Broadcasting & Cable).

Across the three broadcast networks that carried it — ABC, NBC, and CBS — 16.5 million viewers tuned in. However, this was the least watched of Obama’s prime-time pressers so far.
