Howard Dean had is first stint filling in for Keith Olbermann last night on "Countdown," and will be back again tonight. So how’d he do?

The New Republic’s Marin Cogan reviewed Dean’s first stab at cable news host, and found that the former Vermont governor wasn’t as good on-air as another former presidential candidate and governor, Mike Huckabee. "[Given] the choice between Mike Huckabee’s infinite campaign trail and Howard Dean’s real-time crash-and-burn," she wrote, "the choice is easy."
